Sensei Brant Graham
Sensei Graham’s History
Sensei Brant Graham started karate at Fabiano’s in 1999 when his wife purchased lessons for his birthday. Mr. Graham has always had an interest in martial arts, but had never pursued it. His children were already training at Fabiano’s and this was a great family activity.
Mr. Graham hit the training hard, attended seminars, and really began working towards earning his black belt. He tested for his black belt in 2003 with his daughter, making him and his daughter only the second father-daughter to test for their black belts under Sensei Fabiano at the same time. Mr. Graham began helping out with the Children’s and Adult classes and kept progressing through the ranks, earning his 2nd Degree in 2005 and his 3rd in 2008.
Brant enjoys many aspects of training and teaching at Fabiano’s. The health benefits, making friends, and learning more about the history of karate are some of the things that stand out. He enjoys finding new bunkai (applications) for the katas we practice. Sensei Graham enjoys getting to know the children and feels rewarded as he sees them progress through ranks and advance their training both in and outside of the karate school.
